Welcome to our community website
CKCD CLG is a community based, voluntary organisation based in Carlanstown in north Meath. Our mission is to enhance and develop our local community through the maintenance of our physical environment, the provision of recreational amenities and facilities for all age groups and the development of regular community events to facilitate greater social interaction within our community.
Our main objective is to implement the projects outlined in our Community Plan which was developed via a public consultation process in 2013. Central to the plan is the development of the 20 acre Deerpark site into a community park incorporating a range of amenities and facilities to cater for the needs of growing community.
On our website you will find information on our organisation, our activities and our future plans. We are keen to get feedback so please get in touch if you would like to see more information on any item.
Please visit our 'About Us' page to learn more about history of the group.

Missing from our photo are Bernard McPhillips and Councillor Eugene Cassidy who missed the photo shoot by minutes but joined us all for a site walk. Once again CKCD, St Michaels GFC and the members of the joint Deerpark Development team want to extend their sincere thanks to our local elected representatives and Meath Council for their continued support.
Carlanstown / Kilbeg Community Development will focus on the ongoing development of The Deerpark Site in the coming year. This project will allow our community to develop key amenities identified as important by the public consultations for the Renaissance Initiative.
If you would like to get involved in any of the projects or want any further information please get in touch using the contact information at the top of the page.
