DEERPARK PARKRUN CARLANSTOWN
December 2018 saw the start of the Deerpark Parkrun. This is a free event for all walkers, joggers, runners and is a perfect way to get out and exercise while meeting friends and neighbours. Open to all age groups and also a timed event if you want to monitor your progress.
This Family friendly event takes place every Saturday morning from 9.30am on The Deerpark.

All visitors to Deerpark who bring their dogs with them must ensure their pets are kept on their leash at all times and must clean up any mess they leave.
Our Community Plan
Click below to see details of the Community Plan developed through The Renaissance Initiative with Meath Partnership in 2011 / 2012. This plan was created through public consultation with our community and is the guide which CKCD CLG use for ongoing community development projects.

CKCD together with St Michaels GFC were delighted to welcome our local representatives and members of Meath Co Council to the Deerpark in 2017 to view the start of works on the perimeter walkway and new training pitch. Once again CKCD, St Michaels GFC and the members of the joint Deerpark Development team want to extend their sincere thanks to our local elected representatives and Meath Council for their continued support.

Carlanstown Kilbeg Does Kip Sync - In July 2017, CKCD CLG once again collaborated with St. Michaels GFC to launch a major fundraiser for the Deerpark Development. Carlanstown Kilbeg Does Lip Sync proudly sponsored by Staholmog Stores took place in Treacys Hotel in Carrickmacross on Saturday October 7th. The event raised a massive €87,016.55 which will go towards the ongoing developments in Deerpark.
Our sincere thanks to all who supported the event. Thank you to the Main Sponsor, Staholmog Stores, to all the corporate sponsors of our participants, the amazing support from our entire community, the committee who organised the event and most of all to all the participants who gave their time and worked so hard to raise this money.
